Terms of Service

Welcome to Pixfun. These Terms of Service (the "Terms") are the agreement between you and us for using the Pixfun mobile app and this website. We've written them in plain language on purpose. They're still a real contract, so please read them. If anything is unclear, write to us at support@pixfun.app — we answer.

1. Acceptance of These Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Pixfun app, or by browsing this website, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree with them, please don't use the app or the website. That's the whole deal: use means agreement.

If you use Pixfun on behalf of someone else — for example, a child in your care where these Terms allow it — you confirm that you have the authority to agree for them.

2. Who We Are

Pixfun (listed on the app stores as "Pixel Art AI") is made by letitrock, a software developer based in Poland. In these Terms, "we", "us", and "our" mean letitrock. "The Service" means the Pixfun app, this website, and everything they offer together.

3. The Service

Pixfun is a color-by-number pixel-art coloring game. Every artwork is a pixel grid, and every pixel has a number. You tap to fill. There are no timers and no move limits. Find calm, pixel by pixel.

The Service currently includes:

  • A curated library of 1,000+ artworks across 15 categories — from Cute and Kawaii to Mandala, Fantasy, and Monsters.
  • AI Studio— type any prompt (say, "A brown owl peeking out of a hollow") and get a brand-new colorable pixel puzzle in about a minute. Each generation costs 1 AI credit. Ten styles, one tap: Classic, Kawaii, 8-Bit Retro, Cyberpunk, Fantasy, Anime, Pastel, Noir, Nature, and Cartoon. There's a "Surprise me" dice for random prompts, automatic prompt enhancement, and optional background removal. Type it. See it in pixels.
  • Photo-to-pixel — turn a photo from your camera or library into a colorable puzzle. From your photo to a puzzle.
  • Three canvas sizes — Easy (32×32), Medium (64×64), and Hard (96×96), so you can pick your pace.
  • Gamification — daily streaks, coins, XP, and levels, with a daily coin claim and optional rewarded ads for bonus coins. Pixie the pixel cat cheers you on.

Pixfun is available on the App Store and Google Play. Features may change, grow, or be retired over time as we improve the app — categories may be added, styles may shift, and mechanics may be tuned. We'll aim to keep the core experience — calm coloring, no timers, no pressure — steady.

4. Eligibility & Accounts

You must be at least 13 years oldto use Pixfun. If you live in the European Economic Area and your country sets a higher age of digital consent — in Poland it's 16— that higher age applies, unless a parent or guardian consents to your use. Purchases require you to be 18 or older, or to have a parent or guardian's approval. These age rules match our Privacy Policy.

Pixfun works anonymously by default — no account needed to color. If you want your progress, streaks, coins, and credits synced across devices, you can optionally sign in with Apple, Google, or email. If you do:

  • You're responsible for all activity that happens under your account.
  • Keep your credentials safe and don't share them.
  • Provide information that is accurate and yours.
  • Tell us at support@pixfun.appif you think someone else is using your account. We'll help you sort it out.

We may refuse, suspend, or close accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe were created to evade a previous suspension.

5. Subscriptions & Payments

Pixfun is free to download. An optional Pixfun Pro subscription unlocks all artworks, removes ads and watermarks, and adds monthly AI credits and coins. Plans are offered on different terms (such as weekly, monthly, or yearly), and some may include a free trial.

There's also a one-time "no ads forever" purchase, which removes interstitial and banner ads. Rewarded ads stay available as an option, because you choose when to watch them — and whether to watch them at all.

Free-trial eligibility is determined by the app stores; if you've used a trial before, a new subscription may start as paid.

The available plans and their prices are defined in the Apple App Store and Google Play and are always shown to you there at the point of purchase. Prices may vary by region and may change with reasonable advance notice. All purchases happen in-app. A few important things:

  • Auto-renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. You cancel in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings — not in the app itself.
  • Free trials. Trials convert to a paid subscription unless you cancel before the trial ends.
  • Payments. All payments are processed entirely by Apple or Google. We never see or store your card details.
  • Refunds. Refunds are handled exclusively by Apple or Google under their own policies. We cannot process refunds directly — please request them through the store you purchased from.

If you're a consumer in the EU/EEA: by starting your subscription or unlocking digital content immediately, you expressly consent to us performing the contract right away, and you acknowledge that you lose the 14-day right of withdrawal once delivery of the digital content begins. This follows Article 38(13) of the Polish Consumer Rights Act of 30 May 2014, implementing Article 16(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU.

6. Virtual Items (Coins & AI Credits)

Coins and AI credits are virtual items. When you earn or buy them, you receive a limited, personal, revocable, non-transferable license to use them inside Pixfun — nothing more. That means:

  • They have no monetary value and can't be redeemed for cash.
  • They can't be sold, traded, or transferred to anyone else.
  • They're non-refundable, except where the law requires otherwise.
  • Amounts, earn rates, and prices may change over time.
  • We may adjust balances that were obtained through bugs, exploits, or abuse of the free-credit or anti-fraud systems.
  • Unused coins and credits are lost when your account is deleted.

7. Your Content (Photos & Prompts)

You keep ownership of the photos you import and the prompts you write. They're yours. To make the app work, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licenseto host, process, and reproduce your photos and prompts — solely to operate and improve the Service. We don't claim your content as ours, and this license exists only so the app can do its job (for example, turning your photo into a puzzle).

When you upload or type something into Pixfun, you promise that:

  • You have the rights to the content you upload.
  • Your prompts and uploads don't infringe anyone else's rights.
  • They don't contain unlawful content.

8. AI-Generated Content

Pixel artworks generated from your prompts or photos are AI-Generated Content you obtain through the Service. Here's exactly what you may do with it, and what you may not.

Your license to AI-Generated Content

We grant you a personal, non-commercial license to use the AI-Generated Content you obtain through the Service. You may color it, save it, print it, and share your finished pieces privately with friends and family. Any commercial use — selling it, using it in products, marketing, merchandise, or anything similar — requires our prior written consent. Ask us at support@pixfun.appand we'll talk.

What AI output is (and isn't)

AI is probabilistic. Two people typing similar prompts can get similar results, and generated artwork may unintentionally resemble existing works, other users' results, or third-party material. We make no warranty of non-infringementfor AI-Generated Content, and you are responsible for how you use what you generate. If you plan to share something beyond friends and family, check first that it doesn't step on anyone's rights.

Prohibited generations

You may not use Pixfun to generate:

  • Content that infringes third-party intellectual property for distribution.
  • Depictions of real people's likenesses without their consent.
  • Sexual content involving minors — zero tolerance. We report such activity to the relevant authorities.
  • Hateful or otherwise unlawful content.

We may decline to process prompts, remove generated content, and suspend accounts that attempt prohibited generations, in line with Sections 11 and 16.

Generation runs on third-party AI providers, so your prompt (and, for photo-to-pixel, your photo) is processed by those providers to produce your puzzle. Generation quotas depend on your credits and subscription and may change over time.

9. Prohibited Conduct

Keep it calm and fair. When using the Service, you agree not to:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app, except where the law expressly allows it.
  • Scrape the Service or access it with bots, scripts, or other automated means.
  • Exploit bugs or glitches for advantage instead of reporting them to us at support@pixfun.app. (Honest bug reports make Pixfun better for everyone — thank you.)
  • Abuse the free-credit, rewards, or anti-fraud systems — for example, by creating accounts in bulk to farm coins or AI credits.
  • Circumvent or attempt to circumvent any technical protection or access control in the Service.
  • Interfere with the Service, its infrastructure, or other users' enjoyment of it.
  • Use the Service in any way that breaks applicable law.

If you break these rules, we may adjust balances, remove content, or suspend or terminate your access under Section 16.

10. Our Intellectual Property

The Pixfun app, this website, the curated artwork library, Pixie the pixel cat, and all Pixfun branding, logos, and designs belong to us or our licensors. You get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app as intended — and nothing more. Nothing in these Terms transfers any of our intellectual property to you.

11. Reporting & Removal

We respect creators. If you're a rights holder and believe content available through the Service infringes your rights, email us at support@pixfun.app with a description of the work, where you found the allegedly infringing content, and your contact details. We review reports promptly, may remove or disable access to content, and may terminate the accounts of repeat infringers.

12. Third-Party Services

Pixfun works together with a few third parties, and their own terms govern their services:

  • Apple App Store & Google Play — downloads and purchases go through them, and their terms apply to those transactions.
  • Advertising partners — serve ads in the free experience, including the optional rewarded ads you can watch for bonus coins.
  • A subscription-management platform — keeps track of subscription status behind the scenes.

We don't control these services and aren't responsible for their availability, content, or policies. If a third-party service changes or becomes unavailable, parts of Pixfun that depend on it may be affected. See our Privacy Policy for how data flows to and from these services.

13. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent permitted by law, we make no warranties — express or implied — including that:

  • The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
  • AI results will meet your expectations. (Sometimes the owl comes out a bit odd. That's AI.)
  • Defects will always be fixed on any particular timeline.

Pixfun is a coloring game. Nothing in it is professional advice of any kind — medical, psychological, financial, legal, or otherwise.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data or profits, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for all claims combined is capped at the amounts you actually paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. In particular, nothing here affects consumers' statutory rights or our liability for intentional misconduct.

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless against third-party claims, damages, and reasonable costs (including legal fees) arising from your content, your prompts, or your breach of these Terms. This obligation applies to the extent permitted by the law of your country of residence.

16. Termination

You can stop using Pixfun anytime — no questions, no guilt. You can also delete your account directly in the app, which removes your synced data as described in our Privacy Policy. Remember that unused coins and AI credits are lost on deletion (Section 6), and deleting your account doesn't cancel a subscription — cancel that in your App Store or Google Play settings.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms. Where practicable, we'll give you notice and a chance to respond first. Serious violations — like the zero-tolerance items in Section 8 — may lead to immediate termination.

Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 6, 7, 8, 10, 13, 14, 15, and 18) survive it.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time — for example, when we add features, adjust pricing structures, or when the law changes. For material changes, we'll give reasonable advance notice in the app or on this site, and we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms. If you disagree with a change, stop using the Service before it takes effect.

18. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by Polish law. If you are a consumer in the EU or EEA, you keep all mandatory protections of the law of your country of residence, and you may bring proceedings in the courts of that country.

Before anything formal: talk to us. Email support@pixfun.appand we'll try to resolve the dispute amicably. Most things can be sorted out with one honest conversation.

EU consumers may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
